U.S. Pacific Hotel

When considering the prices of other hotels, which are much more expensive, this hotel has received a number of unfavourable reviews. I was initially hesitant about booking, especially since I reserved this hotel twice for our trip—once for our arrival and once for our departure from the USA. However, the hotel exceeded my expectations. The hotel is close to several metro lines. There is always someone at the reception available 24 hours a day, and they respond quickly to messages. While the room is small, as stated in the listing, it provides everything you need: clean towels, bedding, and both a room and a shared bathroom. The bathroom is cleaned several times a day. The bathroom was stocked with shampoo, shower gel, and hand soap. I encourage everyone to read the details provided when booking. Don't blame the hotel if you expected a larger room with amenities like a TV, balcony, microwave, fridge, etc. What is stated on the booking page is what you will receive. Another plus is friendly staff who work at the reception.

Location is fine, I was skeptical about shared bathroom concept, but it was not as bad. There were four bathrooms on 3rd floor where I stayed, they were cleaned periodically. Rooms were very compact with double bed fitting wall to wall and table and chair. They provide hot water as needed and towel. Very basic set up but price wise, it was fine as I did not want to spend too much money on my hotel stay for this trip

My stay here exceeded my expectations! I read a lot of reviews and they were definitely mixed, and I'm not gonna invalidate ANYONE'S experience, but I know for me it was excellent. My room was simple and tiny, with just a bed and a desk & chair and just enough space to stand up and put luggage. It was comfortable, temperature controlled and clean ! Great sunlight inlet from two windows, the view was just the back of other buildings but it wasn't close and stuffy. Bathroom is down the hall, a short walk and they are clean with shampoo, soap, and conditioner. Overall, my stay was perfectly fine. Right in Chinatown where I wanted to be, felt like a local and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. 10/10 recommend !

The hotel is very clean, the bedroom, the hallway, and the bathroom (shared). The room is small, I like that they have a small desk and a hunger on the back of the door. Towels were provided and they were clean and did not smell like humidity (as I have encountered in other hotels)

Guys, if you look at the photos and read the description, there are no surprises. The location is consistent with both. The room is small, but I expected that (it is exactly the size of two double beds). The bathrooms are outside the room, but they were always clean and available. There were three on my floor. The staff was always very professional and even when I arrived late at night, they didn't take long to open the door. For Manhattan, the price is excellent. Of course, if you expect a very comfortable hotel, this isn't ideal, but if you just need a well-located, quiet and safe place to sleep, leave your bags and take a shower, it's perfect.
