U.S. Pacific Hotel

When considering the prices of other hotels, which are much more expensive, this hotel has received a number of unfavourable reviews. I was initially hesitant about booking, especially since I reserved this hotel twice for our trip—once for our arrival and once for our departure from the USA. However, the hotel exceeded my expectations. The hotel is close to several metro lines. There is always someone at the reception available 24 hours a day, and they respond quickly to messages. While the room is small, as stated in the listing, it provides everything you need: clean towels, bedding, and both a room and a shared bathroom. The bathroom is cleaned several times a day. The bathroom was stocked with shampoo, shower gel, and hand soap. I encourage everyone to read the details provided when booking. Don't blame the hotel if you expected a larger room with amenities like a TV, balcony, microwave, fridge, etc. What is stated on the booking page is what you will receive. Another plus is friendly staff who work at the reception.

The hotel is very clean, the bedroom, the hallway, and the bathroom (shared). The room is small, I like that they have a small desk and a hunger on the back of the door. Towels were provided and they were clean and did not smell like humidity (as I have encountered in other hotels)

The room is small but I think is really appreciable that we can have a "private" room in a city like NYC, it's really a blessing. Some comments say the mattress is hard, but I think is a good kind of hard, it was comfortable. There are enough bathrooms and all of them have shampoo and body soap, the only problem might be the stairs which might be a problem for old or tired people like us. They can store your luggage on the day you check out, but only until 5 pm. There is a subway station less than 4 minutes walk and there are stores in front of the hotel where you can buy really cheap things like coke, water, food, much cheaper that any other place in NYC. Would definitely book again.

Excellent location! You're far enough out of the city that you're not spending a fortune on food and drink (both of which extremely accessible all day and night) but you're also a couple minutes away from the subway which takes 15 minutes to take you all the way to Central Park for just $3. Staff are really friendly and helpful, and the beds were very comfy!! I asked the hotel to provide Cheetos as a surprise for my partners birthday trip and they did!

Excellent location, right in Soho. They clean the place all the time. The rooms are tiny, but the beds are Ok. The room with the window has only half of the window. There are several single bathrooms with shower in the hall, so you have your privacy. The lock on my door worked fine. There is no elevator, but you can ask for a room on a lower floor. There are no rooms on the fist floor. No refrigerators or microwave. Very basic. The location is close to Subway. You can leave your bags there after check out. Check in was very fast. Better than I expected.
